Secure Cloud Solutions Consultant
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Secure Cloud Solutions Consultant who has been on both sides of the fence. You have real hands-on technical implementation experience in your background, and you can now take that foundation and guide customers through discovery, solution design, and the sales process.
This is a customer-facing role for someone who can explain how things work, translate requirements into a secure solution, and build trust quickly. Your technical credibility matters here. We will train and support sales execution and process, but the technical foundation and the personality to work with customers must already be there.
You will work closely with our Lead Solutions Consultant and Field CTO, aligning discovery, solution design, proof of concept activities, and go to market strategy for high-impact customer engagements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Run discovery with customers and translate needs into secure cloud and infrastructure solutions
- Explain cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Build solution proposals based on customer requirements, scope, budget, security posture, timelines, and operational reality
- Coordinate with engineering and DevOps for validation, scoping input, and implementation alignment
- Build and deliver proof of concepts when needed, including demonstrating the solution and tying outcomes to customer requirements
- Work closely with the Lead Solutions Consultant and Field CTO to ensure solution consistency, positioning, and execution quality
- Support the sales cycle end to end from first meeting through proposal, quoting, negotiation, and close
- Operate confidently in distributor quoting systems and deal flow
- Collaborate with marketing on qualified conversations, follow-up, and account based outreach
- Maintain strong CRM notes, next steps, close plans, and forecasting discipline
NON NEGOTIABLE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is required. This is not a role for someone who is only commercial or only relationship based.
You must have prior experience working daily in a technical role, hands-on, supporting or implementing real environments. We will know quickly if the fundamentals are not there.
You bring strong capability across most of the areas below
- Systems administration experience in real environments (Windows and or Linux)
- Endpoint experience and security fundamentals (device posture, EDR concepts, hardening basics, patching concepts)
- Cybersecurity awareness that shows up in how you design solutions (identity, least privilege, segmentation concepts, secure configuration mindset)
- Strong cloud understanding and the ability to explain how it works (networking concepts, identity, security, compute, storage, backup and recovery, operations)
- Comfort troubleshooting and validating solutions at a practical level, including building a basic POC when needed
CHANNEL AND DISTRIBUTOR REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working with at least two major distributors such as Arrow, Carahsoft, TD SYNNEX, and Ingram Micro
- Working knowledge of distributor quoting processes and tools, including quote requests, revisions, SKUs, licensing, lead times, renewals, and deal flow
- Plus: familiarity with Arrow Cloud as part of distributor quoting and procurement motions

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Bonus if you hold CompTIA Security+ or other cybersecurity or cloud certifications
